The works SKIN revolve around the idea of 'skin-hunger' – a longing for sensory contact and touch. Here, the material becomes an extension of the body: the transparent nylon functions as a skin which, in its encounter with color, light, and structure, evokes a material-hunger – a need to sense, feel, and understand the world through surfaces and materiality.
